Since 1997, Kyoga Foundation has championed social welfare and economic empowerment across Uganda. We equip women and girls with skills, knowledge, and opportunities to build self-reliant futures. Together, we create healthier, empowered and resilient communities.
OUR MISSION
Our Mission is to promote social welfare in Uganda, with a particular focus on empowering women and girls through education skills training. The Pearlcrest Hospitality Training Institute for example provides, professional training in the hospitality sector to young women from low-income families, aiming to improve their lives and those of their families.
Education & Culture
For 28 years, Kyoga Foundation Ltd has provided affordable education to women and girls. Kyoga conducts cultural training to professional women, University students and school girls. The Foundation also conducts training in the informal business sector as a tool for women empowerment.
Empowerment of Women
Empowerment of Women refers to the process by which women gain greater control over their own lives and participate more fully in society. It involves increasing women’s access to resources, opportunities and decision making power, enabling them to make choices that affect their lives and contribute to social change.
Community Health Services
Through its projects, Kyoga Foundation carries out health initiatives in and around Kampala. Teemba Study Centre for example, runs a medical club for recently graduated doctors and university students who study in the field of health sciences

The Foundation’s focus on skilling, community outreach, and addressing the root causes of social issues like poverty positions it as a potential agent of positive change.
