Scholarships at PHTI

In 2023, Kyoga Foundation in partnership with Wonder Foundation, a registered charity in the UK, began the Kumulisa project with the objective of; increasing Pearlcrest Hospitality Training Institute’s capacity from training 25 to 50 young women per year for three years. The project provided full scholarships to all enrolled students and also introduced a new business skills training program for the students as well as incorporating a new mentoring methodology within the hospitality course at PHTI. The project is on-going and the first four cohorts of girls enrolled are advancing in their knowledge of hospitality and having their dreams shaped for being job creators.
